LLW Forum Meeting

The Low-Level Radioactive Waste Forum, Inc. (LLW Forum) meets twice per year at locations determined by the membership.  Each meeting includes reports on the latest developments in states and interstate compacts; interactive discussions of leading-edge policy issues; and, expert presentations on regulatory, legal and technical questions.

The fall 2018 meeting of the LLW Forum will be held at the Red Lion Hotel in Richland, Washington from October 3 – 4, 2018.  This will be a one and one-half day meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday and concluding at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.

LLW Forum meeting attendees may also participate in an optional tour of Hanford’s Historic B Reactor on Tuesday (October 2) from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.  Interested stakeholders must complete and submit the registration form at least two weeks in advance of the scheduled tour.

The LLW Forum Executive Committee will meet from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning (October 3). The Disused Sources Working Group (DSWG) will meet from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Thursday (October 4).

The Northwest Interstate Compact on Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management is sponsoring the meeting.
